Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Oconee Watersportswebsite and your booking of wakesurf lessons, cruises, tours, and related services (the “Services”) on Lake Oconee, Georgia, USA. By booking with us or using this site, you agree to these Terms.

1. Bookings & Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to make a booking. The person making a booking is responsible for all members of their party, including minors, and for ensuring every participant follows our safety instructions and the captain's directions at all times.

2. Deposits & Payment

To reserve a session, a non-refundable deposit (a percentage of the total, shown at checkout) is collected at the time of booking. The remaining balance is charged automatically shortly before your session. All payments are processed securely by our payment provider, Stripe; we never store your full card details. Prices are quoted and charged in U.S. dollars.

3. Cancellations & Rescheduling

• Customer cancellation: You may cancel from your account. Deposits are non-refundable except where required by law, but you may reschedule subject to availability.
• Weather cancellations: If we cancel your session for weather or unsafe conditions, you are entitled to a free reschedule or a full refund of all amounts paid, at your choice. See our Weather Cancellation Policy.
• Operational cancellations: If we cancel for any other reason within our control, you will receive a full refund.

4. Assumption of Risk & Liability Waiver

Watersports are inherently risky activities. By participating, you acknowledge and voluntarily assume all risks of personal injury, death, or property damage arising from your participation. All participants will be required to read and sign a separate liability waiver and release prior to going on the water. Oconee Watersports, its owners, captain, instructors, and staff are not liable for injury or loss except to the extent caused by our gross negligence or willful misconduct, and except where such limitation is prohibited by law.

5. Safety & Conduct

You agree to wear provided safety equipment, to disclose any medical conditions relevant to your safety, and to refrain from participating while under the influence of alcohol or drugs. The captain may end any session early, without refund, for unsafe or disruptive behavior.

6. Memberships

Wake Club memberships renew automatically on the cadence you select (monthly or annual) until cancelled. You may cancel anytime, effective at the end of your current billing period. Membership perks are subject to availability and may change with reasonable notice.

7. Session Media

We may record photo or video of your session. Recorded clips may be made available to you (members receive their highlights). We may use non-identifying footage for promotional purposes; contact us if you prefer to opt out.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated effective date. Continued use of the Services after changes constitutes acceptance.
